PROGRAM/DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

Part-time:  20 hrs/wk – 4 hrs/day
Pay:  $15/hr
Reports to: 
NAMI Billings Board of Directors

Charismatic and community-minded individual needed for Part-Time Program/Development Coordinator for the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization.   The ideal placement for this position will have superb writing and communication skills and will be responsible for maintaining local education classes, support groups, and community presentations as well as sustaining and growing programs and the mission through maintenance and development of annual fundraising strategies.   Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing and organizing fundraising efforts, including annual appeals, events, and grant writing
  • Recruit and engage volunteers and membership to sustain our support groups, education classes, community presentations, and fundraising events
  • Working with the Office Manager to market programs and develop communication and outreach strategies

Qualifications needed:

  • Detail-oriented with strong organization, time, and prioritization skills
  • Self-starter with thoughtful initiative
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Traits such as:  kindness, empathy, and understanding required
