The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental health conditions.  NAMI National is the foundation for hundreds of NAMI State Organizations, NAMI Affiliates, and volunteer leaders who work in local communities throughout the United States to raise awareness about mental health and provide essential free education, advocacy and support group programs for those living with mental conditions and the loved ones who care for them.  NAMI works tirelessly to advocate for access to services, treatment, support and research to build a community of hope for those in need.
